Each month I publish 30 journal prompts for you to incorporate into your journaling practice.
All you need to do is sign up to the newsletter and then, at the beginning of each month, you’ll receive your 30 free journal prompts.
They are designed to help you engage with your journaling practice regularly, to tease out your thoughts as well as fire up your brain cells and encourage that brain/hand connection.
For this month, June 2025, the theme is Consistency.

The theme idea arose on a quiet walk under soft spring leaves. It reminded me that consistency doesn’t belong to habits. It belongs to us.
I had been thinking of all the ‘things’ – habits, practices, activities, – that I really enjoy, but which I struggle to fit in every morning.
And when I struggle to fit everything in I firstly feel really bad, like I’ve failed because I haven’t managed to ‘fit it all in’.

And secondly, it sort of puts me off trying again. Well, if you keep on failing at something, then you do get put off doing it don’t you?
But then I realised that the consistency is with me.
I am the constant.
Not my todo list.
My todo list is just that.
A list.
A list can’t be consistent, only people can.

It’s not the practice that’s consistent, it’s me.
And I can decide what consistency looks like.

It doesn’t have to be daily. That’s what I was thinking that somehow I had to tick the box every day in order to ‘qualify’ as consistent.
So I explored this idea for myself and then through that created the prompts for June.
A couple of journal prompts June examples
The prompts for June are divided into sections to help you journey through your own experience. By the end of the month you will feel more empowered, more able, more at the centre of your own life. And therefore more relaxed, in the flow and joyous.
Here are examples of some of the prompts. This one is taken from the ‘Understanding your why’ section:
What does being true to myself mean to me right now?
And this one, taken from the ‘Releasing perfectionism around habits’ section:
What habits or routines am I pressurising myself to maintain? And why?
Whatever your approach to maintaining consistency in your life there are sure to be prompts that will help you reflect and grow.

So come and join us in the Journal Library and start to incorporate these prompts into your regular practice.
I have just started creating the prompts in a downloadable monthly calendar style. So you can print it out and keep it in your journal, or download it and keep it in an online organiser like Asana, or Trello. or you could just pin it to your laptop home screen for ease or reference.

I am also really close to launching the Healing Journaling – it is the monthly membership site which has developed out of the Journal Library. Each month there will be a topic that we journal through plus an easy to implement art tip for those people who love to journal with art. It is a place of healing and rest. Come to it when you need to take time out from the world and just spend a few minutes with yourself. In peace and calm.
You can sign up to be notified when the membership is open here:

Have a great day and enjoy this month’s prompts.
