Journaling prompts, April’s theme: SELF-CONFIDENCE – 23rd April 2026

Ready today’s prompt by clicking on ‘Read More’…

This month’s journaling prompts on the theme of SELF-CONFIDENCE are designed to help you build a steady, grounded belief in yourself. Not by forcing positivity, but by gently understanding how you think, feel, and show up in your everyday life.

Mini-theme: Integrating with integrity and lasting love

Today’s Prompt: Where do my actions mismatch my values, and one integrity building adjustment?

These are my personal responses to today’s prompt designed to encourage you to use the prompts to develop your journaling practice. If you are not already receiving the monthly themed prompt calendar there is a sign up box below and you are very welcome to come and join us.

Where my actions mismatch my values is where I fail to make the changes in my life that I want to see.
I have a value for my body being in its best state, but I fail to work out.

I have a value for my work but don’t take all the action necessary and so stall or delay progress.

I have a value for creating beautiful surroundings but don’t give myself enough time to take the action necessary.

I could go on. And on.

But the thought of one integrity-building adjustment is exciting. To stay in line with my values is a subject currently very dear to my heart. How to stay in integrity with myself. It’s a way of honouring myself and it feels great when I do it. So what is one integrity-building adjustment I can make to help me do that…

If I look at where I would like to make the biggest progress it is currently in the area of my work, or looking after my body better. So let’s take work.

One way that I could make this fun is to create for myself a non-negotiable “Daily Proof of Growth” block (60–90 mins each day). During that time I have to take action on my business that moves the needle and isn’t just about admin or designing something in Canva. It’s about creating content that inspires and encourages other women in their journaling.

I’ve also created a tracker and a proof of work done document which is really cool and motivating and can’t wait to use it.
