This month’s journaling prompts on the theme of CURIOSITY are designed to support you to expand your mind with generosity, not condemnation.

Mini-theme: Exploring

Today’s Prompt: Search online for five minutes on an idea that feels interesting to you. Then journal about it.

These are my personal responses to today’s prompt designed to encourage you to use the prompts to develop your journaling practice. If you are not already receiving the monthly themed prompt calendar there is a sign up box below and you are very welcome to come and join us.

Today I did some searching on yesterday’s prompt about experimenting and my decision to create Instagram reels. I found someone online whose reels I love. I couldn’t possibly aspire to their amazing levels of production, but I did spend some time observing how they put their reels together and what it is that I love about them.

And then I created an outline of how I could create the reels.

And now I feel doubtful. And exhausted at the prospect. I’d like it just to be done, for the reels just to be magically made.

I’ll just agree with myself to accept the resistance, the pain, the uncomfortableness of it all. And I’m going to try and enjoy it and be curious. I need to make sure I bring positive energy to it and not drain the experiment of all life through negativity.

Randomly I also had a look at Reddit. I’m curious as to who is on there and what they do and whether there might be a place for me there.
